Arabsat BADR-7 (aka Arabsat-6B) was produced in an Airbus Defence and Space-led consortium EADS-Astrium, with Thales Alenia Space designing and building the spacecraft’s communications payload. The satellite will be the 6th satellite within the Arabsat fleet and has a lifetime of 15 years.
