How many matches in PSL 2023?
The number of matches in the PSL 2023 tournament has not been officially announced as my training data only goes up until 2021. The number of matches in previous editions of the PSL has varied, but typically there are around 12-14 matches in the league stage of the tournament, followed by playoffs and the final. The exact format and number of matches in PSL 2023 may be determined by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) closer to the start of the tournament, and I would recommend checking their official website or following their social media accounts for the latest information.
Rawalpindi will host the most number of games in PSL 2023, which gets underway on February 13 in Multan with a contest between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars, the defending champions.
Multan Sultans would take on Lahore Qalandars in the 1st T20 match of the PSL 2023. The match will be hosted at Multan. The match of LQ vs MS is schedule to be played in the month of February 2023. The schedule match between MS vs LQ would be Day/Night and will be played under flood light condition at Multan.
A total of 11 matches will be played in Rawalpindi, while Karachi (nine), Lahore (nine) and Multan (five) will host the remaining games. The final, on March 19, as well as the playoffs prior to it, will all be played in Lahore.
