Rishtey Cineplex was launched in June 2020. Earlier, another channel with the same name was launched by the same in 2016, but later renamed to Colors Cineplex in 2019.
Earlier, the channel used to broadcast both Bollywood and South Indian movies dubbed in Hindi. But after the launch of Colors Cineplex Bollywood on 1 April 2021, the channel only South Indian Hindi-dubbed movies while the latter is a dedicate Bollywood movies channel.
